Accessibility Statement
Version 1.0-beta.5 · Effective October 26, 2026
Beta: this text has not yet been reviewed by our lawyer and may change.
Spruce Health Sciences, Inc., which operates Glentavo, wants every child and every parent to be able to use Glentavo. This statement explains what we do, what we know is not right yet, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA for glentavo.com and app.glentavo.com.
2. What we do
Our design baseline for every page is:
- text contrast of at least 4.5:1;
- color is never the only way information is shown;
- touch targets of at least 44 pixels (48 pixels on your child's pages);
- focus moves into a dialog when it opens and returns when it closes;
- the device's "reduce motion" setting is respected.
We also:
- set questions and answer choices on your child's pages in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed for readability;
- let a parent set extended time (1.5× or 2×) on practice tests, for children approved for extended time by ERB;
- offer the parent pages, reports and emails in English and in Chinese.
3. Known limitations
- Full practice tests need a computer or an iPad held sideways; they are not available on phones. Practice sets also work on phones.
- We have not yet completed a full accessibility audit. Our main pages are covered by automated accessibility checks (WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules); automated checks cannot find every problem.
4. Feedback
If anything in Glentavo is hard to use, email support@glentavo.com and tell us what you need; we will work with you on a way to get the information.
